At Colorado State University, on top of tuition costs, students pay $1,729 in fees. These fees are broken up into three categories, general fees, technology fees, and facilities fees. For a full-time student attending CSU they would pay $664 to general, $20 to technology and about $200 to facility fees. While this may seem like a lot of money, it goes towards viable buildings, organizations and resources on campus. To regulate the fees, there are three student-run boards that represent the interests of student fees and allocate how the money should best be distributed.
