FoCo police detective arrested for domestic violence

Fort Collins police detective Jason Jungmeyer was arrested this morning for harassment, a class three misdemeanor and domestic violence, according to a police press release.

Jungmeyer had been under investigation by the Larimer County Sheriff’s Department.

The detective turned himself in to the Larimer County Jail today and has been released on a $1,000 bond. He has been placed on paid administrative leave while Internal Affairs conducts an investigation.

Jungmeyer next court appearance is March 6.
