ALERT: Fort Collins on Accident Alert

Fort Collins Police officers have placed the city under an Accident Alert until 10 p.m. tonight due to current weather conditions.

Drivers involved in minor accidents that do not cause injury or have suspected drug or alcohol use involved, are advised to exchange names, addresses, telephone numbers, license plate numbers and insurance information.

These drivers are also required to complete a Colorado accident report within four days after the accident at  the Police Services building, 2221 S. Timberline Rd.

According to the National Weather Service, snow in the Fort Collins area is likely to continue until midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent and about an inch of snow is expected for the night.

Tomorrow is anticipated to be sunny with a high around 43 degrees.
