Fort Collins resident Kodi Don Noel was found guilty and charged with a misdemeanor for engaging in a riot last spring.

The misdemeanor was a lesser charge. The jury decided that Noel was not guilty of the felony of engaging in a riot with a deadly weapon after reports surfaced of Noel allegedly throwing a beer bottle at police.

14 others have been charged in relation to the riot that involved over 800 people last spring near CSU’s campus. Eight of the charged were CSU students.
