Colorado State University’s Business and Economics department programs rank in the top 15% of the world. The Academic Ranking of World Universities based these rankings on the quality of faculty research. CSU’s programs placed 76th out of 500 universities. This is a large jump from our rank as number 101 just last year. The ARWU evaluates universities on research performance such as staff winning Noble Prizes and the number of highly cited researchers selected by Thomson Scientific. They also rank universities on criteria such as the employment rate of degree recipients. CSU has appeared in the overall rankings since 2003, but this is it’s second year in the Economics and Business category. For more information visit www.Shanghairanking.com.
