The first “plus size” model to win America’s Next Top Model spoke to students on Monday night about her experience on the show.

Whitney Thompson also focused on female empowerment as a spokeswoman for the National Eating Disorder Association.

She won America’s Next Top Model Cycle 10 back in 2008 and has been doing her part to revolutionize the “plus size” fashion industry.
