The anticipated 90 degree temperatures has moved Poudre School District to close schools on Friday Aug. 30th, according to the district’s website.
An alert message reads that some of the 50 schools in the district have no cooling systems at all, and that the unusually high overnight temperatures limit nighttime cooling of the buildings.
