Gear guide: great apps for outdoor fun

Even a day out in the wild requires some planning, including tracking trails or finding the perfect camping hotspot. This comprehensive list of “13 Great Outdoor Adventure Apps” by John Corpuz will help you get what you need for your outdoor fun.

“As gadgets and mobile devices become more and more powerful, people are finding new ways to make use of apps and programs even when they’re out in the boonies, hiking a trail, or camping out in the woods,” Corpuz wrote.

Get help in the outdoors from your mobile device, it will be worth to have those apps when you take a wrong turn.
