After taking a journey with a bike and a camera across Kyrgyzstan, Asia, Kyle Dempster, an alpinist, thought he could have his film made into a short climbing video, later finding that it could be much more. Brenden Leonard wrote in “You Will Be Thrilled to Take ‘The Road from Karokal'” for the Adventure Journal, that Dempster sent his footage to Fitz Cahall’s Duct Tape Then Beer media company, where it was made into an adventurer’s film story.

“They (Duct Tape Then Beer) saw a lot more potential in it, and turned it into the 25-minute “The Road From Karakol,” which made its debut at the 5Point Film Festival, where it took home the Best In Fest award. AJ is proud to bring it to you in its entirety today, but be warned: It’s hard to watch without dreaming and planning your own next trip,” Leonard wrote.
