Lory Student Center hosts 50th Anniversary Party

At 6-9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 5 the Lory Student Center will host its 50th Anniversary Party from in the LSC ballrooms.

CSU President Tony Frank is expected to speak at the event, along with Vice President for Student Affairs Blanche Hughes, Lory Student Center Executive Director Mike Ellis and Alexis Kanda-Olmstead, director of LSC Relations, a CSU news release said.

A preview of the $65 million renovation, tributes to the past, the opening of the time capsule buried at the 25th anniversary in 1987 and a surprise announcement are all included in the Lory Student Center 50th Anniversary Party. Expected to attend are close to 450 alumni, former and current staff, students, donors and friends.
