Beginning Friday at noon, pay extra attention to street signs if you don’t want your car towed.
At this time, homecoming weekend festivities will be taking over many streets around Fort Collins and alternate modes of transportation other than a car are suggested for the day.

The 90-minute parades begins at 4:30 p.m. at the Howes and Oak intersection, and then follows the path of Howes, around the Oval, across the plaza on campus, and concludes on Meridian Ave. on campus, according to Today@ Colorado State University.
The streets will open again when the parade ends at 6 p.m. Friday evening.

Vehicles will begin being moved at noon if they are in the way of the parade route or the staging area. They will be towed by Crossroads Towing to a lot in the southeast corner of Howes and Maple streets, according to Today@ Colorado State University.
