Long before the legalization of marijuana, April 20th has been the smoker’s holiday. The details of how that day became a holiday are difficult to clarify, but who doesn’t love a reason to celebrate?

Each week they host an EDM night at Hodi’s Half Note. 4/20 & 4/21: CSU’s Theatre Department presents Reefer Madness: The Musical by Kevin Murphy and Dan Studney. This musical adaptation of the 1936 propaganda film shows how one puff of the green can put any young person down the devil’s path to a life of violent rampage. Check out this production at the University Center for the Arts.

4/20: Free Show: Organic Alternative’s 2nd Annual 420 Celebration @ The Blind Pig. Festivities start at 3 pm with drink specials, giveaways and performances by Cary Morin and Tyler T.
