Top 3 sandwiches to try at Fifty30 Elevated Eats

If you’ve recently been in the lower level of the LSC, you might have noticed the new sandwich joint next to the Skeller. Fifty30 Elevated Eats opened Monday, Oct. 29 and serves a variety of sandwiches as well as ice cream from local shop Walrus Ice Cream.

Fifty30 Elevated Eats is the new sandwich shop next to the Ramskeller, and it is open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (AJ Frankson | Collegian)

The smells of the sandwiches may overwhelm some and convince them to order the entire menu, so let this list of the top three sandwiches help elevate the meal experience.

1. Pikes Peak – steak, onion, bell peppers, mushrooms, provolone and American cheese.

2. Belford – turkey, bacon, avocado, jalapenos, tomato, lettuce, pepper jack and spicy cream cheese.

3. BBQ-Ban – ham, pulled pork, muenster, coleslaw, pickles and barbecue sauce.

“I believe that what makes all of the sandwiches stand out is the amount of food you get for the price,” said Geoff Valdez, assistant director for retail operations. “Almost everything at Fifty30 is made from scratch and we believe the students will enjoy their experience at Fifty30 for years to come.”
