Tickets on sale for Grammy award-winning artist Colbie Caillat’s October show at Lincoln Center

Grammy Award-winning singer-songwriter Colbie Caillat will be coming to Fort Collins this fall. Beginning in October, Caillat will be performing her first acoustic tour aptly named The Malibu Sessions Acoustic Tour. This tour coincides with the release of her sixth studio album “The Malibu Sessions.” The tour will come to Fort Collins’ own Lincoln Center on October 15.

Caillat first rose to mainstream fame after releasing her first album “Coco” in 2007, which included hits like “Bubbly” and “Realize.” During the following year, she won a Grammy for her song “Lucky” that she performed with Jason Mraz. Her debut album is now double-platinum, and she was named one of the bestselling music artists of the 2000s in Billboard Magazine

“The Malibu Sessions” will be Caillat’s first release under the record label PlummyLou Records. Caillat founded the label in an effort to continue creating music that was more in line with her vision.

“I’ve always been inspired by classic rock from the 70’s and how records were made at that time. There’s a lot of Paul Simon, Fleetwood Mac and Tom Petty influences on these songs,” Caillat said in a press release.

Accompanying Caillat on this tour will be musicians Justin Young and High Dive Heart.

Tickets for this tour recently went on sale and are expected to sell out quickly. Go to LCTix.com to purchase tickets. There is a limited number of Big Deal tickets that only cost $25. Once those are gone, tickets will be $45-$58, so make sure to pick up a Big Deal ticket while you can.
