CSU to host REEL ROCK Film Tour

Experience 2015’s best rock-climbing and mountaineer adventures at the REEL ROCK 10 Film Tour at 7 p.m. Thursday in the Lory Student Center. 

Presented by the North Face and Gore Tex, REEL ROCK 10 Film Tour will highlight some of the year’s best outdoor films. Athletes, including Tommy Caldwell, Kevin Jorgeson, Alex Honnold, Jimmy Webb and Daniel Woods, will make guest appearances during the presentation. The audience will also get the opportunity to participate in prize giveaways and non-profit fundraisers with members of Sender Films and Big UP Productions.

“REEL ROCK is celebrating its 10th anniversary by telling the stories of all the incredible moments and people from a year the climbing world will never forget, from the epic free ascent of the Dawn Wall to the tragic passing of the great Dean Potter,” said REEL ROCK coordinator Emily Vacchiano. “Along with awe-inspiring feats of athleticism, there are tons of laughs and some really poignant moments.”

Admission is $17.
