Colorado International Poster Exhibition returns for 19th biennial year

The only exhibition of its kind in the Western hemisphere, the Colorado International Invitational Poster Exhibition, is returning to Colorado State University tonight for its 19th biennial year.

The event features poster art from around the world concerning social and cultural issues with 100 artists and 30 countries exhibited.  It is hosted by CSU’s Art department

The event is at 7 p.m. in the Visual Arts building, where there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony. Different galleries in Visual Arts will showcase posters from different parts of the globe. The Hatton gallery will feature posters from Asia and the Americas, while other galleries will feature Europe.

Additionally, there will be a poster sale from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in both the Visual Arts galleries and the Curfman Gallery in the Lory Student Center.
