The Lagoon Summer Concert Series has returned to Colorado State University summer 2015 with a fresh array of musical acts from around Northern Colorado.

The weekly concert series has been held in Fort Collins by CSU and the Mantooth Marketing Company for 18 years. Concerts are free to the public and are held 6:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesdays by the lagoon west of the Lory Student Center. The series began June 17 and will conclude Aug. 12.

Fort Collins-based indie rock band Winchester Holiday will perform at the series July 8. Winchester Holiday is part of SpokesBUZZ, a local music organization.

July 15 will feature music from the Wendy Woo Band, a songwriter group from Denver. Wendy Woo is one of only a few Colorado performers to have won the Westword Music Awards five times.

Roots rock band Von Stomper will perform at the Lagoon July 22. Von Stomper is a five-piece act from Fort Collins.

July 29 will feature a performance from Three Shots, a blues band from Colorado. Three Shots was a finalist in the Colorado Blues Society‘s International Blues Challenge in 2013.

Fort Collins-based songwriter Danielle Ate the Sandwich will perform at the Lagoon August 5. The indie folk artist is best known for her recent work of composing the original soundtrack to the HBO documentary film “Packed in a Trunk: The Lost Art of Edith Lake Wilkinson.”

The Lagoon Concert Series will conclude August 12 with an open house and ice cream social from 4-6 p.m. The event will feature a performance from Post Paradise, a Colorado-based alternative rock band, as well as CSU-related information booths.
