Better Call Saul?

As you’re probably well aware the AMC Original Series, ‘Breaking Bad‘ has come to an end. But if you’re just hearing this now from me, that’s pretty pitiful.

As far as I’m concerned it was nearly impossible to miss all of the endless rants about how the show ended, and the home-made blue candy meth that was consumed by millions during the finale.

Anyway I’m thinking those same people who threw finale parties on that fateful last Sunday still haven’t gotten enough of Vince Gilligan and Peter Gould’s dark vision. BECAUSE  they’re cooking up a spin off. (Ha-ha)

According to the HuffingtonPost.com, “A lot of people want to know what’s going to happen next to Saul,” Bob Odenkirk, the actor who plays Saul Goodman’s character was quoted saying in the article. Really though? OF COURSE Odenkirk is going to say this because he’ll have his own show, but is this really the route that Gilligan and Gould want to go? I didn’t really hear anyone ask about Saul when Walter was lying dead in a meth lab. Yeah that happened.  I guess we’ll find out how well this will go.

I mean with Jesse still alive at least there’s some hope for those teenage girls who have fallen in love with Aaron Paul.

Did you know that Jesse’s full name is Jesse Bruce Pinkman? Did his middle name have anything to do with the plot of the show? Nonetheless he has one, so there’s that.

Back to the point. Apparently Odenkirk has a big say in his prequel/sequel and the vision for the show, and aspires to it to make it nothing like Breaking Bad. What?

My only question is, if it’s nothing like Breaking Bad will anyone even care? Does anyone even like Saul?

In the same article on the HuffingtonPost.com, upon watching the spin off viewers are supposed to say “Oh this isn’t Breaking Bad, this is it’s own thing.” And then shortly after lose all of it’s viewership.

Just kidding.

If any of this interests you stay tuned for the sequel/prequel/no one knows yet show called ‘Better Call Saul’.

You know if you’re into that kind of thing.
