Friday, Aug. 30 the Transfort Gold route will begin running at 9 p.m. rather than its usual time of 10:30 p.m. and detour from its normal route to pick up riders from the CSU transit center, allowing Macklemore concert attendees to take the line downtown after the performance. Buses will depart from the transit center every 15 minutes from 9:15 to 10:30 p.m., with stops along Meldrum Street. The route will then turn east onto Mountain Avenue, south onto College Avenue, west onto Prospect Road, north onto Shields Street and east onto Plum Street to complete the loop back to the transit center. As per usual and unlike the normal Transfort routes, the Gold and Green routes are not free for CSU students, regardless of valid ID. The cost per rider is $1, which will only be accepted in cash.

At 10:30 p.m., the Gold route will resume its normal schedule until 2:30 a.m., extending to cover Mountain Avenue, College Avenue, Prospect Road, Overland Trail, Elizabeth Street and Laurel Street. According to Jerediah Burianek, the Tranfort service planner, route 6 will be running its normal late-night weekend route if concertgoers would prefer not to go downtown after the performance.
