The Utah State Aggies topped the CSU Rams in a very back and forth Mountain West Conference game. The Rams made a late charge in the first half after the Aggies took a 12 point lead and cut it to 3 headed into the break. CSU came out of the gate hot in the second half as sophomore Adam Thistlewood hit back to back threes but soon after Utah State Senior guard Sam Merril took the show over. Merril finished with 18 points in the second half bringing his total to 28 for the night. The rams will take on Nevada at Moby this coming Wednesday.
