Denver Nuggets respond to Ty Lawson’s arrest

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Department, Nuggets starting point guard Ty Lawson was arrested this weekend. The Collegian has confirmed that Lawson was arrested on allegations of domestic violence and criminal mischief.

In a statement sent to Nuggets Insiders, newly hired GM Tim Connelly commented on Lawson’s arrest.

“We are fully aware of an incident involving Ty Lawson over the weekend. Per team policy and out of respect for the legal process, we will have no further comment at this time,” Connelly said.
