A group of scientists from the University of Berkeley have been working with an Oakland company to develop a new breathalyzer that can detect traces of weed, according to The Fortune.
They are moving quickly, but so is the competition. Hound Labs Inc. is designing a similar device. Wednesday Hound Labs announced they have found a way to successfully measure the amount of THC after one or two puffs into the breathalyzer.

The new product will cost around $1,000, similar to the price of an alcohol breathalyzer. To read more about the scientific discoveries these two companies have made, see the full story.
