Tuesday Ohioans voted on Issue 3, proposing a statewide monopolized marijuana market. According to the Columbus Dispatch, the idea of legal weed was struck down by nearly two-thirds of the population.

Although stoners in Ohio are disappointed today, the state is still considering the implementation of a medical marijuana market. Ryan Smith, a leader in the House of Representatives, said there is still more discussion to be had on the topic.

“After going through this process, myself and many of my colleagues realize there’s tremendous support for medical marijuana and something we should have a bigger discussion about,” Smith said.
