A lawsuit was filed in Illinois last May against Kayvan Khalatbari, co-founder of a dispensary called Denver Relief. Judge Mitchell L. Hoffman initiated the case, complaining that Khalatbari was involved with too many businesses in the medical marijuana industry in Illinois.
According to an article published in the Denver Post, the case was dismissed at summary judgment by a judge in Lake County.
Khalatbari claimed he was acting as an out of state consultant to these start-up companies. To learn more about the lawsuit, check out the full story.
