Denver City Council considers legalizing weed bars

Tourists and Coloradoans have been exercising the right to smoke marijuana recreationally, but they have not been given a legal place to do so.

According to NPR, the Denver City Council is considering the legalization of weed bars, similar to the concept of coffeeshops in Amsterdam.

The new law would be designed to give tourists a place to smoke since marijuana has become a popular tourist attraction in Colorado. There is a high demand for businesses like this because travelers do not have the option of smoking in their own homes.
