Since winter is upon us, in the United States we can’t help but to solely focus on Christmas the entire season. However, Bustle is calling attention to winter traditions and holidays all over the world. Check out these special days abroad.

St. Lucia’s Day, Sweden- festival of lights
Tibetan New Year, Tebet- celebration of renewal
Malanka, Ukraine- celebrated with elaborate costumes
Chaharshanbe Suri, Iran- festival of fire

Who knew there could be so many amazing holidays happening all over the world? It would surely be a great experience getting to visit any of these countries during the occasion.
