Whether you live in Fort Collins, Boulder, or Denver, biking is a staple to get around the area, wether for commuting or recreation. According to 5280’s article “The Most Bike Friendly City is…” Fort Collins lost to Boulder because of Boulder’s report of more residents who bike to work daily.

“Coloradans take the same hyper-local pride in their bike lanes that they take in their microbreweries. The arguments for a city’s bike prowess are fierce and the evidence is anecdotal, especially with the addition of a few IPAs at the local brew pub,” Sam Brasch wrote.

While the feud between Fort Collins and Boulder lives on, it is evident that both cities have avid bikers, and plenty of biking opportunities.
