This fall semester, prior to when Colorado State University classes all went online, CSU apparel and merchandising seniors were hard at work creating their capstone fashion lines. In the apparel design and production capstone class, students use computer-aided design technology for apparel sketching, construct an average of five to seven garments, work with models for fittings and photo shoots and prepare their final portfolios for review. Tackling topics from sustainability to gender expression to the new remote-work dress code, the current senior class has created a diverse mix of fashion lines that will be presented in an online fashion show.
