A couple in Lakewood, Colo. were denied a wedding cake by a local cake shop started quite the stir yesterday. Dave Mullin, 28, and Charlie Craig, 31 were told that because gay marraige is not legal in Colorado the shop, owned by Jack Phillips, refused to bake them a wedding cake. New York Daily News said:

Protesters flocked to the shop Saturday, holding signs with slogans like “Let the gays eat cake.” But Phillips says that hasn’t put a damper on business.”

In comparison I would say the better public relations move was made by the New Jersey cake shop. Hitler is offensive, same-sex weddings are not.
