MUST SEE : Lets start off with this weekend, October 6th Chipotle will be hosting their first annual Cultivate Festival. The event, located at City Park in Denver, is completley free with national performers such as Grouplove and Best Coast , local artists Tennis, Zach Heckendorf, and many others. The festival starts at 10 AM and goes until 6 PM and they will have cooking classes all day as well the opportunity to win free Chipolte! This is a great show for anyone who loves great food, a friendly atmosphere and great Indie Rock. If you have never seen Grouplove perform before, you won’t want to miss it. They put on a live show that is so full of energy, you will be smiling long after the event is over. Check out this video of them playing at Bonnaroo this year if you don’t believe me.

LOCAL SHOW: If you like Hip-Hop combined with Pop and Rock then you need to head over to Road 34 in Fort Collins on October 5th when Denver band, Air Dubai will be headlining the local bike shop/bar. These guys put on a show that is by far one of the most entertaining local shows you will see. Air Dubai mixes classic Hip-Hop with a combination of  tasteful guitar riffs, pulsing bass lines, and soulful singing that makes for a very cool experience. The Denver locals have been creating quite a name for themselves recently, touring nationaly this summer and playing festivals such as Bohemian Nights at NewWestFest. They are about to drop a new album titled, Be Calm, and will most likely be playing new material as well as the classics. Here is a video racap of their recent Summer Solstice Tour.

UNDER THE RADAR: The Royal Concept is a name that may be new to a lot of people but it won’t be long before these youngsters are headlining major shows around the globe. These Swedish rockers have taken some critisism for there similarities to bands such as, Phoniex and The Strokes, but who says that’s a bad thing? Although they have a large following back in their homeland, this is only their second US tour. They will be opening for Wolf Gang on October 11th, at the High Dive in Denver and then again on the 12th at the Black Sheep in Colorado Springs. Make sure to catch these guys now so you can say that you knew them before they were huge. And for $12, how could you go wrong. Here is a video of them perfoming back in Sweden.

SKIP: Owl City, October 2nd. Do I really need to say any more? Don’t go.
