Dr. Yvonne Cagle, NASA Astronaut and aerospace researcher and retired Air Force Colonel, was the keynote speaker at Colorado State University's Women in Science Symposium, Mar. 3. The symposium took place in CSU's Canvas Stadium and featured Cagle's speech and question and answer session, along with an international art exhibit, a poster session, portrayals of historical figures in science, the gallery of Colorado Women's hall of Fame, a model of a Career Issues group, slam talks, and discussion groups. Yvonne spoke of some of her experiences in space and about the health research she is involved with regarding how the body adapts to conditions in space. (Addie Kuettner | The Collegian)
