“No, the headline is not a joke.

A man legally named Santa Claus is running as a write-in candidate for a city council seat in North Pole, Alaska, the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner reports. The village, which is about 13 miles outside of Fairbanks, is holding its elections on Tuesday. ”
