Russian photographers climb to daring and illegal heights

Most travel photography revolves around the spots that tourists are most interested in seeing. However, for Russian photographers Vadim Mahorov and Vitaliy Raskalov the thrill comes from climbing above and maneuvering below to glimpse the unknown views of major cities.

“The city looks different from a birds-eye perspective. It seems like a totally different place. You can see all the infrastructure. You can see some things (statues, architectural elements of buildings, interesting roofs), which you can’t see from the ground,” Vadim said in an interview with HUCK Magazine.

Vadim and Vitaliy have recently released a documentary which follows them around major cities as they try to find extraordinary points of view.
