When getting a tattoo, it’s pretty normal to go in with a design, discuss it with an artist and come back a few weeks later when they’ve had a chance to draw it out before putting it on skin. However, for clients of South African artist Jay Freestyle out of Amsterdam, the process is much shorter as he free-hands the tattoo the day of on his client, according to the Huffington Post.

“He’s incredibly knowledgeable about colours, shading, perspective and placement – all the properties essential for producing a painting – which prompts most of his customers to trust him completely, even if they already had a design planned,” the article reads.
