Cold fronts freeze region Tuesday

A cold front is forecast to push through northern Colorado early Tuesday morning, around 6:00am. Temperatures will quickly fall behind it. Another front pushes through the area later in the day that will drop snow. Expect windy conditions as well. The snow should continue into Tuesday night. We should wake up to one to three inches on Wednesday.

After a cold Tuesday, an even colder Wednesday will be waiting for us. Morning commuters may have to deal with single digit temperatures. There could be a few light flakes before noon on Wednesday, but skies should clear out somewhat for the afternoon.

Some relief is on the way. We’ll return to above freezing temperatures on Thursday. 40s arrive on Friday. Saturday’s forecast is in no way permanent. Weather models are varying widely for the coming weekend, so keep it tuned here for an update.
