60s today, snow on the way

Thursday’s high temperature was recorded at 57 degrees in Fort Collins, and we’re just going to keep on warming! Expect low to mid 60s this afternoon with plenty of sunshine – a very pleasant day for mid-February.

Enjoy the warm days while you can! Sixties return to the forecast for the first half of the weekend, but a winter system is on its way to Colorado. Temperatures tumble back to the 40s on Sunday as the storm approaches the area. Models are currently showing about two to five inches of snow falling throughout the day Monday and into early Tuesday morning. Light snow and much colder temperatures continue Tuesday.
