Mild weather for end of finals week

Did you notice the high clouds that stuck around all day on Wednesday? Well, those will return Thursday afternoon as well. Winds should be light and temperatures are forecast to be about average for this time of year.

If you’re planning on traveling around the front range through the next few days, weather should not impede you. Flights out of Denver International Airport should be in the clear. Make sure to check forecast conditions for your destinations though!

For those of you sticking around Fort Collins, conditions will hover around seasonal norms through Sunday. The weekend looks pretty pleasant for mid-December!

Snow arrives Monday; the timing and intensity remain uncertain. Weather models are, however, fairly certain that the mountains will get quite a bit of snow. Up to two feet of snow is forecast for some ski resorts. Those looking to hit the “pow” over break will want to keep an eye on this storm.
