Very warm Tuesday, showers arrive in the evening

Ahead of a low pressure system, moisture will stream into the area on Tuesday. This will bring quite a bit more cloud cover; however, temperatures will again climb well above normal. As per the usual, you will need a jacket in the early morning, but a t-shirt would be better for the afternoon. Showers should develop after 6:00 p.m., so if you have evening plans, bring an umbrella.

Tuesday is forecast to be dry through about 6:00 p.m., but rain showers should fall into the overnight hours. Rain is expected early in the morning on Wednesday, ending before the morning commute. Wednesday’s high temperature will feel more normal for this time of the year. Don’t get used to it though!

The sun and warm temperatures return Thursday. Friday will near the record high temperature for the date! Unseasonably warm weather will continue into the first part of the weekend as well.

Precipitation won’t return to the forecast until Sunday or Monday. Enjoy the nice weather!
