As part of Greek Life, there are organizations that have their week to celebrate another year of success on campus. This week, the ladies of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. are among that number. You may have seen these ladies at the plaza on Monday promoting their celebration leading up to their chapter’s anniversary. Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. established their Beta chapter at CSU, having been founded Oct. 27, 1990.
“We host different events during the week in order for the CSU and Greek Community to get to know us and who we are,” said Susana Ruvalcaba, a sister of Lambda Theta Nu Sorority, Inc. During this week, these ladies are hosting events like “Study with Lambdas,” Mexican Candy Sales to help raise funds for the Latino Literacy philanthropy, a current issue event, and are ending it with their annual Halloween Party. Every Greek organization puts in the hard work for their week because it gives them a chance to show the values and give recognition to their chapter and its members. The two events that are left for this week are:
1. Thursday, October 24, 2013: Putting Yourself First: Depression Uncovered Workshop with Sigma Alpha Epsilon at 7 p.m. in Clark C213
2. Friday, October 25, 2013: Disturbia: A Lambda’s Nightmare Halloween Party at 10 p.m. at CMR Tavern
