This Friday, stop by any one of the three Human Bean coffee shop locations in Fort Collins for whatever coffee delight you may be craving. Do not be surprised, however, to find that local nurses will be acting as baristas for the day.
From 5 a.m.-10 p.m. Friday, the Fort Collins Human Bean coffee shops will be hosting the event “Coffee for a Cure,” a fundraising event for local women battling breast cancer.
Local nurses and hospital employees will act as guest baristas at one of the three coffee shop locations, donating 100 percent of the sales made that day to local breast cancer support centers. These local centers include the Poudre Valley Hospital and the Medical Center of the Rockies Oncology Patient and Family Support, which help women with breast cancer pay for basic needs such as insurance premiums, prescriptions and co-pays.
Another donation recipient, the North Colorado Medical Center Breast Cancer Fund, provides low-income women with diagnostic services, mammograms and biopsies.
So do not forget to grab your coffee or latte tomorrow from one of the Human Bean locations. For more information contact Isis@mantoothcompany.com or call (970) 682-1326.
