Running as write-in candidates, Lauren Wester and Filipp Dedogryuk announced their ASCSU presidential campaign Thursday.
Wester, ASCSU deputy chief of staff and international studies major, will run with Dedogryuk, a senator for the College of Natural Sciences and a junior psychology major.
According to elections manager Andrei Gurau, the candidates will announce their platform as soon as possible and will participate in upcoming debates.
This is the first time ASCSU has had three teams of candidates run, Gurau said.
The deadline for write-in candidates is 8 a.m. April 6. As dictated by ASCSU elections code, the campaign will follow the same rules as the other two campaigns.
The voting period will begin April 6 at 8 a.m. and will close April 8 at 4 p.m. During this time, voting booths will be available in the Lory Student Center, in Morgan’s Library and online on RamWeb.
