According to a report released by All State Insurance, Fort Collins has been named the safest driving city in America. This is the third year that Fort Collins has made the top of the list. The report says that the average driver here will experience a collision every 13.9 years, which is 28.2% less likely than the national average.
Some of the factors that made Fort Collins the safest place to drive were citizen attentiveness to good driving, a local focus on distracted driving, good roadway design and street maintenance, and lastly strong community value towards safety and law.
