Fort Collins police seeking information about accident

The Fort Collins police are seeking information about a hit and run accident that occured June 21, 2012 at approximately 1 a.m. on Edinburgh Street just north of Strachan Drive.

Two men were walking south on Edinburgh Street when a vehicle, which did not have its lights on, struck them and fled west on Strachan Drive.

The victims described the vehicle as a “newer small model SUV, dark in color with a ‘rather be fishing’ bumper sticker on the right rear bumper,” according to the press release from FCPD.

Fort Collins Police are asking anyone with information to contact Officer Marty Shaw at (970) 221-6555 or Crime Stoppers of Larimer County at (970) 221-6868.
