WSU comes out victorious after a disappointing performance from the Rams. CSU scored on its first possession, but that would go on to be its only points of the evening.
Colorado State football embarks on its first game starring the new starting quarterback, Jackson Brousseau.
After a slow start to UTSA, the Rams are looking to redeem themselves and have the opportunity to do so as Washington State has weaknesses that can be exploited. The Cougars will also be testing out a new quarterback with Zevi Eckhaus.
After head coach Jay Norvell benched Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi, it leaves fans with a sense of hope for a new era for the Rams. But will CSU and Brousseau rise to the challenge?
This is the Rams’ first game of the season playing a future Pac-12 opponent, giving the Ramily a glimpse of what’s to come.

Fourth Quarter: Colorado State 3, Washington State 20
In an attempt to stop an Eckhaus QB keeper, Jacob Ellis was unable to complete a tackle and, in the process, landed awkwardly. Ellis was attended to on the field for several minutes before being assisted into the tunnel.

Tanner Morley was down on the ground in the middle of the field and had to be helped off the field with the support of two trainers. He’s barely putting pressure on the ground as he heads into the tent.

UPDATE: Morley was seen being assisted by two trainers into the tunnel, not a good situation for the O-line.
End of Second Quarter/First Half: Colorado State 3, Washington State 20
CSU scrambles to get some points back before moving onto the second half. But the field goal attempt from Hankins strayed too far right, sending the Rams into halftime with low spirits.
Second Quarter: Colorado State 3, Washington State 20
Running uncovered, Ademola Faleye scored another touchdown for the Cougars with a little over a minute to go.
Second Quarter: Colorado State 3, Washington State 13
After Leo Pulalasi set the WSU’s for success with a 45-yard run, CSU prevented the Cougars prevented WSU from getting another touchdown. WSU decided to go for the field goal and through Stevens, the Cougars lead by 10.
First Quarter: Colorado State 3, Washington State 10
The Cougars looked to be going for the touchdown, but after a false start on fourth down, they settled for a 37-yard field goal from Jack Stevens. Joe tightened up his coverage on another deep pass attempt.
WSU looks to be sticking to its air raid.

Despite CSU coming out with a field goal, Eckhaus was quick to rebuttal by throwing to Jeremiah Noga, who then scored a 35-yard touchdown. Noga outran CSU’s Lemondre Joe in that play, securing the run.

The Rams got the first points on the board thanks to Isaiah Hankins with a 50-yard field goal at 11:32.
