We are the Mountain West

13_mwc_bballYesterday, Rams basketball edged out Fresno State in a game that was too close for comfort. Dorian Green watched on from the bench as his teammates stepped up big to keep our tournament hopes alive.

With their win, this Rams team has become the second consecutive men’s basketball team to win a Mountain West tournament game. Coming off of a season with a record high in the win column, the Rams appear poised to win the entire tournament — but can only do so if they play their best.

But the Mountain West Tournament is only the beginning. The better we do now the higher we’ll be seeded for the NCAA. We have a historic team on our hands, it’s sure to be an epic ride.

Our women’s basketball team plays tonight, looking to finish their season strong. A disappointing season, though, can be made up for with a stellar performance during the tournament.

CSU’s athletes work so hard, and do their best to represent our school in everything they do.

The entire Fort Collins community is behind you, Rams. Make us proud.
