Skiing in Colorado is, to some people, as common and necessary as breathing. Thousands flock to our slopes during the day to get some sunshine and powder, but what about at night? These professional skiers decided that day break and sunsets weren’t the signals of when they could or couldn’t ski, and they took on the mountain in what turned out to be a beautiful evening spectacular.
“Today skis are very popular, with an estimated 400 million people skiing around the world each year. In this video, director Nick Waggoner and Sweetgrass Productions capture the sport in a new light in the British Columbian and Alaskan back country. With skiers wearing multicolored LED light suits and massive lights illuminating the landscape, this video reveals an astonishing new look at a rarely seen landscape.”
