Central Station: A Station and a Gay Bar

Not New York Central Station, but this Louisiana station has become much more than just a station, but a hub for much more than that.

“Central Station is perhaps one of Shreveport’s best known secrets. The building itself has stood at 1025 Marshall St. since 1910 as “The Central Station” by the Louisiana and Arkansas Railroad. Restorations to turn the station into a restaurant began in 1978, according to an old postcard found about the restaurant.”
