Artist recommend getting summer tattoos now

summer tattooAs the school year comes to a close and we get ready to leave Fort Collins and head away for the summer (or stay in Colorado), many people are looking forward to showing off their new tattoos. However, artists recommend getting those tattoos sooner than later to give them time to heal before being exposed to the summer sun, according to NorthernStar. 

“Recovery time varies depending on a tattoo’s size, detail, color and shading. Having to wait four weeks to heal is a huge reason why people who desire to get tattoos should be sure to get it this month,” the article reads.

Staying out of hot tubs and public pools during the healing process of a new tattoo will also help prevent infection.
