Social workers have seen an increase in the number of tattoos on children under the age of 18 with parental consent, according to FOX 47 News.
“I find it very troubling we’d allow a hole in the law that would allow parents, in my opinion, sort of abuse the children,” Sen. Glenn Anderson, D-Westland, said in an interview with FOX.

Many people have expressed concerns about current policy that allows minors to get tattoos with parental consent citing a doubt that the teenagers truly understand the commitment of permanent body art.
