While studies flood the media about the dangers of getting unprofessional tattoos, New Delhi’s old quarter in India is flooded with young men willing to take the risk to ink their girlfriend’s names, gods or designs on the artist on their body, according to an article in The Mirror.
“A basic design can cost as little as 50p but customers run the risk of contracting blood-borne viruses such as HIV or bacterial infections from unsterilized needles,” the article reads.
